Oh wow time has flown so fast since 2025 DTI was over. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who visited gallery youyou's booth at the 68th Dai Token Ichi (DTI), held at the Tokyo Bijutsu Club on November 1–2, 2025.

To Sword・Tosogu Collectors & Enthusiasts

It was a great pleasure meeting so many collectors and enthusiasts, both from across Japan and overseas. In today’s rapidly developing online world, information has become instantly accessible and communication more convenient than ever. Yet, we were reminded how truly special it is to handle a one-of-a-kind work of art in person and to share its story directly with those who appreciate it. Moments like these—when we can stand face to face with collectors and enthusiasts to discuss each piece—are what make the Dai Token Ichi irreplaceable♡

This year, our booth featured a wide selection including Juyo tosogu by Hirata Hikozō, Hayashi Shigemitsu, and both hanare-mei and futoji-mei Nobuie.

Driven by our passion for the theme, “The Aesthetics of the Samurai", we also exhibited around 68 fittings such as sukashi tsuba, Ko-Mino, Ko-Kinko, Nobuie, Hōan, and Higo Kinko works—alongside about 30 pieces from the Gotō and Machibori Kinko. In addition, we presented Juyo swords, Koshirae, Katanagake, and Armor for display and sale.

Newly Released Publication: Nobuie

Publications such as Nobuie and Higo kinko, 3 volumes by Mitsuru Ito, including their English translations, were also available at the booth. We deeply appreciate the warm encouragement and genuine interest expressed by many enthusiasts. The Nobuie book is currently being offered at a special price until December 31, 2025 and we hope you will take this opportunity to obtain a copy of the book and its companion translation & commentary.
