I as a collector have been involved in antiques for over 50 years.

The relationship with antiques is the joy of meeting artworks, the happiness of acquiring them, and realizing in the depth of their "beauty" while holding them every day in my hands. I could truly touch the romance of their history and meet art lovers becoming my friends beyond their generations and professions who have enriched my life through antiques.

Not limit to antiques, artworks can be held by a collector for a while but it is just a moment of their long lives. Their beauty and history can heritage to the next collector who will take good care of them, so that the history of artworks can live forever.

Because of my years of knowledge, experience and connection as the art specialist, I wanted to become a bridge between art collectors, museums, and institutions, so I decided to open a door of the gallery.

Gallery youyou is specialized in Japanese antiques such as Samurai armors, tsuba, netsuke, hanging scrolls as well as Chinese and Korean art.
